

Miriam Tokan & Idan Toledano WISHES
Singer Miriam Toukan, a Palestinian-Israeli artist, and musician Idan Toledano, a Jewish-Israeli artist, have been creating music together since 2005, forging a profound artistic partnership rooted in dialogue and cultural diversity. Miriam’s expressive voice and Idan’s multi-instrumental virtuosity create an intimate and moving experience on stage, inviting audiences into a shared space of dialogue, heritage, and hope.
Their performance is built around original songs, blending Arabic and Hebrew musical traditions with contemporary expression - a soulful tapestry of harmony, poetry, and instrumental artistry. As co-founders of the multicultural ensemble Quartetoukan, they released two acclaimed albums: Crossroad of Cultures (2016) and Whom My Soul Loveth (2019). As a duet, they released their original album Wishes (2024).
Beyond their artistic work, Miriam and Idan have also initiated educational musical programs in Jewish and Arab schools, using music to bring children and youth together - fostering understanding, curiosity, and a deeper recognition of the other.
In recent years, Miriam and Idan have toured extensively across Europe - including Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France, and more - captivating international audiences with their message of unity, hope, and the shared language of music.
